Tian was born in Beijing in 1963. He was admitted to the Department of biology of Liaoning University from 1981 to 1985. He was admitted to Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and received master's degree in resource management from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in l987.

In l987, he went to the United States to study and major in resource management in Dezhou Polytechnic University, and received a doctorate degree in l992.

In 1994, with the support of Mr. Liu Yaolun, a famous patriotic overseas Chinese, and taking science and technology as a means of serving the country, Dr. Tian Suning founded the AsiaInfo company in Dallas, and determined to bring the modern information technology to the motherland.

In l995, Tian Suning and others moved their headquarters to Beijing. They wanted to bring internet technology back to China, and to implement a complete cycle of the operation mode of some hi-tech enterprises in the US in China.

At present, AsiaInfo has 4 wholly owned and cooperative companies such as Beijing AsiaInfo and Shanghai AsiaInfo, and 5 offices in Guangzhou, Wuhan, Chengdu, Harbin, Hongkong and so on. In the United States, there are 2 asiainin technologies and 5 AsiaInfo consultants.

The sales volume of Yaxin doubled from 100 million yuan in 1995 to 400 million yuan in 1997.

In March 1997, AsiaInfo was named "the most valuable investment company in the world" by Fidelity investment company of the United States.

At present, Yasin has become one of the high-tech enterprises with few Internet network system integration, large network application software development and network management experience in the world.
