At first, the mould for making chalk in Liu Yuan village was made up of two pieces of wood, with only a few dozen holes.

Later, my parents came to Nanjing at the time, the frontier of domestic chalk production, and brought back more advanced 360 hole molds at that time.

At that time, only a few handicraft shops made chalk, and made 200 to 300 tons of plaster chalk each year, and sold them to Tianmen, Hanchuan and Xiaogan.

At that time, the market was in great demand, and more and more farmers learned to chalk it up.

But until 1989, only my parents could make chalk chalk in Liu Yuan village. The chalk of other farmers was single white.

In 1989, my parents received two orders of 30 thousand boxes of chalk from Mexico and Malaysia.

At that time, they were workshop family processing plants, and their own production capacity was insufficient. Their parents took the opportunity to disclose the recipe and craft of color chalk to the villagers, and jointly completed the foreign trade orders with more than 100 villagers.

Since then, my parents began chalking with everyone in Liu Yuan village. I heard that there was such a deep impression: "my family did not farm land and chalk, but now we have houses. Everyone is happy."

Only now can I recall what my parents and I said, which touched the greatest vision and hope in memory.

In Liu Yuan village, the farmers whose per capita net income is more than 5000 yuan or more than 95% is admitted to the building.

Liu Yuan's chalk is a typical example of rural capable people using local resources to develop economy.

In rural areas, an industry is often driven by one or more economic minded people.

Therefore, in today's new rural construction, there are some "top-notch talents in rural areas", to some extent, an industry is selected.
