The first batch of honorary citizen selection activities in Jinjiang identified 20 candidates, of whom 2 were directly awarded (Li Yongbo, Lu Xue Yi), and 18 were selected.

Among the 20 people, there are 6 managers, 3 entrepreneurs, 2 technicians, 1 large agricultural producers, 2 educational circles, 1 honorable persons, 1 skilled workers, 1 workers in sanitation workers, and 1 officers and men in the Jin army.

Among them, Li Yongbo, deputy director of the National Sports Administration's pingpong management center and coach of the national badminton team, was elected to be the result: the Chinese badminton team training base was set up in Jinjiang, which made outstanding contributions to Jinjiang's expansion of external exchanges and promotion of city popularity; led the Chinese badminton team to Jinjiang for more than 300 days, and had deep feelings for Jinjiang, and endorsed Jinjiang shoe enterprises as a strategic cooperative partner, playing an important role in promoting the development of Jinjiang sports industry.

Zhang Hong, an environmental sanitation worker in Anhui, was elected as the driver of garbage collection vehicle. He was responsible for garbage pshipment in main sections and refuse pfer stations in Jinjiang. He started a day's work at 3 a.m. every day, 365 days a year, which fully embodied the dedication of sanitation workers who preferred "one person dirty to ten thousand people clean", and won the title of excellent sanitation worker. Under the impetus of it, a family of three are now engaged in sanitation cleaning work.

Zhou Aihua, a professional technical expert from Jiujiang, Jiangxi, was elected as an ordinary employee of Qipai group. Over the past decade, she has taken root in the enterprise, loves her job and works hard, and has been skilled in the province. She has been awarded second professional competitions in the province's vocational skills competition, and has won a good achievement in the national vocational skills competition. She has been generous in giving donations to the difficult workers, and has been awarded the Fujian provincial youth post master's title and won the Fujian labor medal.

It is reported that the honorary citizen of Jinjiang is mainly targeted at non Jinjiang residents who have made outstanding contributions, including foreigners, overseas Chinese, Hongkong and Macao Special Administrative Region residents and Taiwan compatriots.
