The quality of students' clothing products is related to the health of students. Some clothing enterprises are inferior to the inferior products, posing as qualified products, which harms the interests of the majority of students and parents.

Since 2006, the quality supervision classification management method of Zhejiang Province clothing manufacturers has been implemented (Trial Implementation). Student clothing has been divided into three grades, A, B and C.

If a C enterprise fails to pass the sampling inspection, it will no longer be included in the classified management, or cancel its bid qualification.

The fiber inspection bureau of Zhejiang Province recently carried out a special inspection of the student clothing products produced by the student clothing enterprises in the whole province. A total of 130 batch of student clothing products produced by 76 garment production enterprises were inspected. 60 of the qualified enterprises were inspected, and 110 batches of qualified products were sampled. The pass rate of sampling inspection was 84.62%, which was nearly 30 percentage points higher than that of 2005.

The quality problems found in this sampling product are mainly in the aspects of appearance quality, labeling and color fastness, and the pH value of the two batches of products exceeds the standard.

Excessive pH may damage skin acid-base balance, cause skin itching, allergy and other symptoms.
