Japan Dyeing Association Actively Respond To Industry Adjustment
The Japanese dyeing association president, three Tian Village, recently said that 2008 was a year of great change for the dyeing and finishing industry. Opportunities and challenges coexisted, hoping to bring into play the influence of dyeing industry as a key industry in the textile industry chain. Although the dyeing and finishing industry is facing difficulties in rising costs and difficulty in raising processing fees, the dyeing Association maintains that if the cooperation and communication with upstream and downstream enterprises can be strengthened, the dyeing and finishing industry is expected to revive.
In recent years, the business environment of dyeing and finishing enterprises can be described as "miserable". Raw materials, fuels, dyestuffs and other dyeing and finishing enterprises need to increase their prices comprehensively, and the pressure from environmental protection is further increased, and the demand for processing fees has not been actively responded. Three Tian Village compares the current situation of dyeing and finishing industry as "the mouse is anxious to bite the cat". It is determined to explain to the upstream and downstream industry the pressing situation facing the dyeing and finishing industry and promote the structural adjustment of the textile industry. At present, the Japanese dyeing association has decided to hold consultations with the apparel industry association and Japan Chemical Fiber Association before the end of March to raise the dyeing and finishing fees. In addition, the dyeing association also plans to engage with interior decoration enterprises to explore ways to break the dilemma.
Due to the pressure of environmental protection, the dyeing and finishing industry will face a more severe situation. In view of the increasingly stringent restrictions on the use of chemical reagents in Japan, the dyeing association hopes that the upstream silk producers can cooperate actively and explore countermeasures. In addition, the dyeing Association will also seek cooperation with upstream and downstream enterprises on issues such as finished goods inventory in dyeing enterprises.
