Recently, from the Nantong Municipal Bureau of culture, a total of 38 traditional cultural projects involving folk literature, traditional medicine and folk customs were listed in the list of the first batch of intangible cultural heritage protected by Nantong.

It is reported that the first batch of non heritage items at the municipal level in Nantong is based on the declaration of counties (cities) and districts, and is evaluated by the expert committee of the city's non heritage protection work, and has been confirmed after extensive consultation with the public.
