China Apparel Association Releases "2007-2008 China Garment Industry Development Report"
In April 29th, on the occasion of the Fifth Congress of the China Apparel Association and the national garment industry conference, the China Apparel Association released the 2006-2007 China clothing industry development report (hereinafter referred to as the "report").
The report was jointly conducted by the China clothing association, the China Federation of Commerce and the China Textiles Import and Export Chamber of Commerce. China Garment Association has deeply analyzed the situation of China's garment industry relying on the Institute of industrial economics of China Garment Association and experts in the industry. The first part of this report has been completed. The China Federation of Commerce Information Center has completed the second part of this report through monitoring, investigating and researching the Chinese clothing market. The China Textile Import and export chamber has carried out a comprehensive analysis of the import and export situation of textiles and clothing through the in-depth study of the development trend of the international garment market, and completed the third part of the report. The China clothing association carried out the final draft.
The report is divided into four parts. The main contents include the summary of the economic operation of the clothing industry in 2007, the analysis of the clothing market in 2007, the 2008 forecast, the 2007 international clothing market situation, and the 2008 outlook and thematic report. Among them, the special report covers three major sectors, namely, the clothing listed companies, the clothing business development research and the garment industry cluster development.
The report points out that 2007~2008 years is an unusual period of development for China's garment industry. In 2007, from the basic operation of the national garment industry, the apparel industry has shown a trend of integration, adjustment and upgrading, and entered a more complex business competition pattern. The industrial development exists and advances on a more systematic and more complex platform. Especially, the clothing industry has entered the era of system compound operation and competition, such as industry, brand, business, culture, society and resource value, business rules and social responsibility.
《報告》認為，2007～2008年，宏觀經(jīng)濟和市場新環(huán)境對服裝業(yè)的影響有三點：一是服裝原輔料成本、勞動力成本、制造成本乃至運輸成本等服裝產(chǎn)銷中幾乎每個環(huán)節(jié)的成本上漲，已給行業(yè)發(fā)展帶來明顯的影響，而同時服裝產(chǎn)品的價格上升空間不大；二是人民幣持續(xù)升值，且升值預期進一步加大，對服裝業(yè)出口貿(mào)易和ＯＥＭ業(yè)務帶來更加長期的壓力，且國內(nèi)對出口貿(mào)易的倚重和扶持力度進一步弱化，某些地區(qū)已出現(xiàn)服裝國際貿(mào)易和ＯＥＭ的清談甚至蕭條征兆；三是以新《勞動合同法》從醞釀到實施為標志，企業(yè)社會化成本和社會責任體系成本明顯加大，給服裝企業(yè)在人員、制度、法規(guī)等管理方面增加了前所未有的壓力，一定程度上使得企業(yè)在產(chǎn)業(yè)拓展和生產(chǎn)經(jīng)營方面形成力量消耗，尤其是尚未完全擺脫粗放型和經(jīng)營單一型的中小服裝企業(yè)，短期內(nèi)其發(fā)展的生機和 Competitiveness will be weakened.
The report stresses that the industry is facing a major structural reshuffle in 2008. The impact of the global economic environment on exports is further apparent. The cost and labor chain reaction brought about by the implementation of the new labor contract law, and the pressure of RMB appreciation pressure further increase, and other factors, the survival environment of SMEs is more severe. At the same time, large enterprises can solve the crisis by means of upgrading product structure, restructuring industrial resources, pferring gradient, brand innovation, diversifying channels and expanding financing, so as to achieve all-round upgrading and development of enterprises. Competition for industrial resources will become more intense. The domestic market will become the focus of Rio Tinto, and the upgrading of the domestic market will be accompanied by the upgrading of the domestic market. The performance of the domestic market in 2008 will certainly be wonderful.
