MITSUBISHI Chemicals Will Slash Production Of Polyester Fiber Raw Materials
由于油價(jià)高企使成本上升、盈利狀況惡化，加之美歐市場(chǎng)需求下降，日本材料巨頭三菱化學(xué)公司７日宣布，將大幅削減其全球４個(gè)工廠的聚酯纖維原料生產(chǎn)。
Reports say factories that cut production include MITSUBISHI chemical's domestic factories and factories in China, South Korea and Indonesia. Only 5 factories in India have factories in India, which are not cutting production because of the booming domestic demand.
It is learnt that the production of polyester fiber raw material is mainly used for manufacturing clothing materials PTA. The MITSUBISHI chemical plant in Ningbo will cut production by 20% to 30% from the end of April.
According to the report, although the demand for petrochemical products is expanding globally, a lot of manufacturers have begun production adjustment on some of the products due to greater profit pressure. Japan's other material giant, Mitsui chemical, has already decided to continue to expand its production scale.
