The Annual Output Value Of The Spanish Wedding Garment Industry Is Nearly 1 Billion 500 Million Euros.
According to the Spanish wedding dress economic report released on 8, at present, wedding apparel accounts for 7.6% of the Spanish textile and garment industry, with an annual output value of 1 billion 489 million euros, accounting for 0.14% of GDP.
Spain's 2007 wedding clothing exports amounted to 416 million euros, the EU is the country's main export garment clothing market, accounting for nearly 3/4 of its total exports. In addition, wedding garments exported to Mexico, the United Kingdom and the United States have increased considerably in recent years.
Spain's wedding dress industry has been developing rapidly in recent years. As of the end of 2007, Spain had 822 enterprises in the production of wedding clothing, 14 thousand and 500 employees, and 4642 wedding dress shops across the country.
With the change of Spanish wedding customs in recent years, the principle of frugality and the cost of wedding expenses have been greatly reduced, but the wedding dress has not been affected. The Spanish wedding budget is usually between 13 thousand euros and 28 thousand euros, of which the bride's wedding expenses are at least 850 euros.
Spanish wedding dress and Asian competition can continue to develop, relying on high quality design and production technology. In addition, the Spanish wedding garment industry attaches great importance to developing new wedding garment markets such as Russia, China and Arabia countries, and actively seeks to expand exports to these countries.
