Zhongyuan University Of Technology Holds The First Textile Design Competition
In June 10th, the first textile design competition of Zhongyuan University of Technology, which lasted more than two months, came to a successful conclusion. Through the sample design, production, theory and operation skills assessment of the three links of the competition, three groups of first prize, five group two prize, ten group three and other awards were won by different teams.
The competition is sponsored by the dean's office, the student affairs department and the Youth League Committee of Zhongyuan University of Technology. The purpose is to strengthen the connotation construction of textile discipline and improve students' practical ability and innovation ability.
During the competition, the contestants used the yarns and small prototype equipment provided by the organizing committee to produce cloth samples with a width of 20cm and a length of 20-30cm. The necessary parameters such as raw materials, warp and weft density, yarn weight, weight and organization chart were given to the contest selection committee. After the screening of the competition committee, the authors of the entries were evaluated for theoretical and operational skills, and the final results were determined with comprehensive results.
Hao Jia, the contestant, told reporters that although their group's works did not win the prize, such competitions strengthened the theoretical knowledge they had learned, made them feel the importance of practice and realized the joy of hands-on.
