Singapore Airlines Male Flight Attendants Unified Replacement Of New Uniforms On 30 Th
June 12, 2008 - from June 30, 2008 onwards, Singapore Airlines Ltd. (Singapore Airlines) will replace the new uniform. The new uniforms will complement the famous sarong Kebaya uniforms of the new air bus flight attendants.
The new male flight attendant uniform is designed by the French fashion designer and Balmain UniFORMes brand art director, Christophe Galibert. The brand was invited to redesign the flight attendant uniform in 2006.
Mr. Galibert and Pierre Balmain, the designer of sarong Kebaya uniforms, have had more than 25 years of cooperation experience.
Mr. Galibert said: "the Balmain team is very honored to assume the design of the new air men's uniforms and integrate our strong international operation experience."
"When we design the uniform, our main goal is to keep the new air male flight attendants elegant while making it consistent with the design of Pierre Balmain's logo sarong Kebaya. Therefore, how to find a suitable design style and concept for male flight attendants becomes the main challenge we face.
The new uniform includes a single breasted navy blue suit (jacket and trousers), azure shirt and striped tie. Necktie is divided into four colors according to different grades.
Suits - the main colors of navy blue blouse and trousers and female flight attendants are blue and harmonious.
Shirt - sky blue shirt and navy blue coat match perfectly, showing the color of the sky properly.
Tie Necktie colors can be used to distinguish between different ranks and similar colors to female flight attendants uniforms. In addition, different colors of stripes of each tie have been carefully designed by Balmain company to match the pattern details of sarong Kebaya uniforms. Blue - Flight Steward

Red - Chief Steward Purple -- cabin Captain (Inflight Supervisor)
Mr. Tan Pee Teck, senior vice president of Singapore Airlines, said: "the new uniform shows a professional image and will make the flight attendants proud to wear it. Moreover, many of our flight attendants are actively involved in the design process of uniform design and color schemes.
