However, not long ago, the China Textile Industry Association went to 6 provinces in Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hubei, Hebei and Fujian. The declining industry profits were shocking: 2/3's profits were only 0.62%.

The textile and garment industry has produced 800 million yuan for disaster relief under the condition of low profit, highlighting the social responsibility attitude of textile and garment enterprises.

In June 18th, the China Textile Industry Association will introduce the outline of CSR report for Chinese textile and garment enterprises, and re publish its annual report on industrial social responsibility - "2007 annual report on China's textile and garment industry social responsibility".
