Guangzhou's clothing exports will be relieved by the difficulty of testing and the cumbersome process.

Yesterday, China textile industry association testing center Guangzhou office officially settled in Guangzhou International Textile City, becoming a comprehensive testing base of Foshan Nanhai Xiqiao South textile fabric.

The center will be completed by the end of this year. Most of the testing items such as physical and chemical testing, ecological testing and functional testing of textile fabrics will be adapted to the major international textile standards such as the European Union. After the completion of the project, the center will have an international advanced level.

"Last year, China's clothing exports caused a direct economic loss of about 5000000000 US dollars due to the EU's azo ban, but it was 10% lower than the previous year."

Fu Guangwei, director of the China Textile Industry Association's testing center, said that hitting the international green barrier not only caused the textile enterprises to suffer economic losses, but also brought bad influence to the Chinese garment industry.

It is reported that more and more countries have put forward higher requirements for the ecological projects of textiles. In addition to azo dyes, other ecological items include pH value, formaldehyde, PCP (pentachlorophenol), TBT (three butyltin), nickel content in heavy metal and color fastness.

Export enterprises and relevant government departments should attach great importance to this.

The newly established test center test report can be recognized by the China National Accreditation Committee for conformity assessment (CNAS) and more than 40 foreign countries.

According to customs statistics, in the 1~2 month of this year, China exported $5 billion 994 million of textile and clothing to the EU, an increase of 26.99% over the same period last year.

However, at present, many clothing enterprises are mostly limited to the appearance of the quality of fabrics, and the internal quality, especially the ecological projects involving fabrics, is relatively superficial.

"Enterprise inspection awareness is not strong, in order to save costs, not until the last minute, can not be submitted for inspection will not be submitted for inspection."

Fu Guangwei said that there are not many textile inspection agencies in Guangdong, and some must be tested in the field.

The state has implemented the mandatory standard of the basic technical specification for National Textiles safety, and the inspection will be more standardized no matter export or domestic trade.
