Yesterday morning, the City Quality Supervision Bureau released the "first half of 2008 the city's product quality situation report" shows that in the first half of this year, Shaoxing product quality spot checks batch pass rate is 94.2%, the quality index is 98.99, both are the highest level since 2001.

It is understood that in the face of severe economic situation, the quality supervision department takes the key product quality special rectification action as the starting point, comprehensively protects the quality and safety; promotes the development of lump industries with the regional brand as the carrier; takes the standard as the leader, consolidating the quality foundation of enterprises, and takes effective measures to promote the improvement of product quality, and has achieved remarkable results.

In the first half of this year, the provincial, municipal and county level three quality supervision departments sampled 184 kinds of 3805 batches of products in our city, qualified 3583 batches, and the pass rate of batches was 94.2%.

There were 59 batches of 1433 samples of the spot check index products, 1375 batches of qualified products, 96% qualified batches and 98.99 quality indexes, up 0.5 percentage points and 0.78 percentage points respectively.

All 112 qualified products have been polished "made in Shaoxing".

According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Bureau of quality supervision, the quality index of 112 kinds of products, such as edible vegetable oil, silk fabric, solid wood flooring, waterproofing membrane and general valve, is 100. The quality index of 19 kinds of cotton knitted underwear, copper tube and hood is over 99. The 33 kinds of product quality index of shirts and electric bicycles are between 90 and 99, but the 20 kinds of product quality index of children's clothing and organic fertilizer are below 90, which needs attention.

It is gratifying to note that the overall quality of the small businesses has always been significantly improved.

According to reports, in the first half of this year, small enterprises increased the number of spot checks, and the quality index of products still increased by 98.84, up sharply from the same period last year.
