The exhibition will be mainly divided into overseas clothing brand exhibition area, domestic clothing brand exhibition area and fashion creative design exhibition area. At that time, there will be 11 cities and regions from Japan, Korea and Italy and more than 40 cities and autonomous regions in 20 provinces and autonomous regions, and 460 enterprises will participate in the exhibition.
It is reported that the theme of "summer in Italy" will be the highlight of the Expo. The main contents of the "summer of Italy" include: building a special Italy Pavilion, organizing the international famous fashion show, holding a modern fashion life high-level forum, and signing the fashion industry related cooperation agreements between the two governments.
Besides, taking into account that the clothing festival was scheduled to be held during the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, in order to implement the requirements of the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee on Olympic security and enable the people of the whole city to participate in the related activities of the Beijing Olympic Games with the people of the whole country, the municipal Party committee and the municipal government decided that the twentieth Dalian international dress festival will be postponed until the autumn of 2009.
