Recently, I learned from the Shanghai textile energy conservation center that the new energy consumption standards for printing and dyeing industry, which are being formulated by relevant departments in Shanghai, are expected to be published in the year and will become the national industry standard.

The new standard sets different energy consumption indicators for different products and processes.

Experts point out that this will speed up the industrial restructuring of the printing and dyeing industry.

The energy consumption standard of the national printing and dyeing industry has been implemented for 17 years, and the energy consumption of all production lines in the printing and dyeing mill is "one size fits all". Due to insufficient energy constraints, small and medium-sized printing and dyeing factories have launched a large number of low-end production lines, resulting in oversupply and disorderly competition in the printing and dyeing industry, resulting in serious waste of resources and environmental pollution.

It is understood that the new standard is mainly for the printing and dyeing industry to provide a "comparable" process as a standard, initially set as a total of 12 processes of cotton dyeing process, in which the energy consumption quota of each process is listed in detail, other processes as a reference, according to the process to increase or decrease energy consumption.

In this way, the "comparable" energy consumption calculation method is the first in the world.
