The Japanese textile industry has taken corresponding protective measures against the implementation of the Product Liability Act (PL). In terms of mechanic, it is mainly through strict management and inspection of needles and other dangerous substances that may cause harm to human body in textile and clothing.

There are three types of hazardous substances commonly found in Japanese textile industry.

Needles: sewing needles, hand sewing needles, pins, pins, tongue pins, staples, crochet, etc.

Tools: scissors, small scissors (Textile exclusively), hair remover, awl, pencil, ball point pen, drawing nail, small bamboo board with sharp metal parts, etc.

Other dangerous objects: nails (footwear, etc.), broken glass, wood chips, screws and so on.
