Changzhou'S R & D Of Bamboo Fiber Fabric Has Been Put Into Production.
The reporter learned from the Changzhou high tech Zone that the technology of making fabric from bamboo fiber has entered the industrialization research and development stage in Changzhou.
For a long time, China's natural fibers and oil based chemical fibers rely heavily on imports, while fast-growing and High-yielding bamboo plants grow as much as 4 million 200 thousand hectares in China. At present, Donghua University (formerly China Textile University) has formally set up R & D center in Changzhou national hi tech Zone, and has sent researchers to cooperate with local enterprises to develop bamboo fiber clothing fabrics. The project has been supported by the national science and Technology Ministry's science and technology support program.
