July 2008 Cotton Blend Fabric Output Provinces And Cities Bulletin
In July, cotton blended fabrics were mainly concentrated in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shandong provinces.
Zhejiang province produced a total of 160 million 510 thousand meters of cotton blended fabrics this month, the province with the highest output of cotton blended fabric this month, an increase of 15 million 500 thousand meters from the previous month, an increase of 10.69% in the ring ratio, accounting for 22.54% of the total output of the country. In 1-7 months, Zhejiang province produced 955 million 640 thousand meters, representing an increase of 7.56% over the same period last year.
The output of cotton blended fabric in Jiangsu and Zhejiang this month was much lower than that in June, of which 23 million 560 thousand meters in Jiangsu and 15.33 percentage points lower than that in July, while the output of cotton blended fabric in July in Shandong was 13 million 470 thousand meters lower than that in June, and the ratio decreased by 11.48%. However, the output of the two provinces in July was still slightly higher than that of the same period last year, representing an increase of 2.21% and 3.81% respectively.
In other provinces and cities, Fujian and Sichuan also had relatively rapid growth. In 1-7, Fujian produced a total of 439 million meters of cotton blended fabric, an increase of 22.2% over the same period last year. It became the main production province of cotton blended fabric after Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shandong. In July, Sichuan also increased by an average of 11.59%. By the end of July, Sichuan had produced 180 million meters of cotton blended fabric.
