At present, the area of mulberry trees has reached 264 thousand mu, and silkworm has reached 91 thousand households, accounting for 90% of the total number of rural households. In the first half of this year, 845 thousand silkworms were produced, 24 thousand tons of fresh cocoons were produced, the average was 18 yuan per kilogram, and the income of farmers raising silkworms was 450 million yuan, an increase year on year.
