Leftover leftover materials in clothing factories are usually treated as garbage, but many farmers in Cixi town have woven beautiful carpets and other handicrafts, which have earned foreign exchange and provided many jobs.
The head of Guangzhou and crafts weaving factory, said, there are many garment enterprises in Cixi, leaving a lot of leftover materials every year. Under their careful creativity, some garments, such as the leftover bits of T-shirts, can knit 1 square meters of beautiful carpets every 1.5 kilograms. The women in town can knit more than 20 pieces a day. After being pruned and packaged, these carpets are sold to Japan, Korea, Europe and the United States and other countries and regions, with an average annual output value of more than 3 million yuan. This year, they plan to add processing points to other provinces and expand the scale of enterprises.
It is reported that like the Guangzhou and the craft weaving factory, there are more than 50 garment cuttings processing points in the town, and at least more than 1000 new and old villagers have become rich.
