2008 International Clothing Culture Exhibition Ended At Academy Of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University.
The 2008 international clothing culture exhibition, jointly organized by the Korean clothing culture association, the Chinese Artists Association and the textile and costume art design department of Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University, was recently closed in Tsinghua University.
The Chinese representatives present at this event include vice chairman of the China Association for aesthetic studies, deputy director of the school committee of Tsinghua University, Wang Mingzhi, director of the academic committee of Tsinghua University, Li Dangqi, director of Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts, Secretary of the Party committee, Xiao Wenling, director of the Department of dyeing and dyeing, and experts and scholars from Korea clothing association.
The main theme of this exhibition is "multiculturalism and fashion industry strategy". Under the guidance of this theme, Chinese and Korean colleges and universities hope to make extensive exchanges in the future development of clothing culture, industry and training of fashion designers, and strive to enhance the original design level of clothing between China and South Korea through this exchange, and create a high-quality national brand. The chairman of the next International Federation of textiles and clothing, CEO of the US apparel company, Professor of Alabama State University, and Dr. Zang Ying Chun of the Department of dyeing, clothing and art design, Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University respectively delivered speeches on the Asian tradition, innovation, modern and natural beauty and dress culture.
It is reported that during the same period, a clothing exhibition entitled "art and Asian beauty" was held, with 14 sets of Chinese costumes and 34 sets of Korean costumes.
