At present, the Communist Youth already owns 3 national brand cards and half the original brand of clothing industry in Jiangxi Province, and 70% of the clothing brands own independent intellectual property rights in the province.

A recent authoritative survey shows that the market share of duck duck brand has risen to second in the country.

This remarkable achievement is a successful example of the implementation of the strategy of independent innovation by the Communist Youth League and the positive improvement of the advantages of the textile and garment industry.

After several years of efforts, the textile and garment enterprises of the Communist Youth have developed to more than 300, with more than 50 brands with independent intellectual property rights.

The textile and garment industry is the traditional dominant industry in Jiujiang. At present, the major textile pattern of cotton, linen, silk, chemical fiber, knitting, printing and dyeing, clothing and so on is formed.

The whole city has nearly 1 million 400 thousand spindles, more than 3000 cloth machines, 8 printing and dyeing production lines, 100 thousand tons of chemical fiber annual production capacity and 100 million sets of clothing annual production capacity.

In 2007, the proportion of industrial added value, sales revenue and total profits and taxes in the textile and garment industry of the city accounted for 20.6% and 17.8% of the city's above scale industry respectively, and the textile and garment industry became an important force to drive the industrial development of the city.

In 1-8 months of this year, 175 of the major industrial projects in the city accounted for 22 of the textile and garment industries. Among the top 10 investment projects, there were two textile and clothing categories, namely, the annual output of 330 thousand tons of differentiated chemical fiber projects and the investment of 500 million yuan in Jiangxi's Jinxing 200 thousand spindles with 3 billion total investment.

At present, the two projects are being carried out urgently.

In addition, the Jiangxi Huafu 20 thousand ton printing and dyeing project, which invested 300 million yuan, and invested 140 million yuan to spell Jiujiang Industrial Co., Ltd. has started construction. The 300 million yuan peak textile project has entered the stage of equipment installation, and Hengsheng chemical fiber and Jia Hao textile and other projects have been completed and put into operation.

The cluster effect of Jiujiang's textile and garment industry has been gradually highlighted, forming three major industrial clusters: the garment industry cluster mainly based on the common green development zone, the cotton spinning industrial cluster dominated by Pengze and de an, and the chemical fiber industrial cluster dominated by the Mount Lu area.
