From November 1st onwards, China's export clothing inspection will adopt the new standard "import and export clothing inspection regulations", which consists of 9 parts, including general principles, sampling, indoor clothing, denim clothing, Western-style clothes, overcoats, down garments and down products, shirts, children's clothing, casual wear, etc.

Zhongshan inspection and quarantine department personage introduced that the formulation and implementation of the new standards highlighted the theme of protecting consumers' personal safety, health, health and protecting the environment.

Compared with the existing standards, the new standard has added the general principles and the children's clothing. The general rules have clearly defined the routine inspection items and safety inspection items in the inner quality of the clothes. In children's clothing, there are clear requirements for the detection items of toxic and harmful substances such as azo and formaldehyde, according to the characteristics that children like to pull, pull and bite the ornaments on the clothes, and also put forward specific requirements for the twisting and pulling of the small parts and decorations on children's clothing, so as to prevent the danger of suffocation caused by children's improper swallowing.

The recent global financial turmoil has aggravated the pressure on the domestic textile and garment industry, and the labor-intensive garment manufacturing enterprises in Zhongshan are also under the pressure of survival.
