Cotton Spinning Factory Fire

Around eight thirty pm on January 3rd, a private cotton spinning mill in Tongxiang, Zhejiang, suddenly caught fire, and the burned area was about 200 square meters. As the raw material of the plant used for producing cotton was flammable, the fire spread quickly.

After nearly two hours of joint fire fighting with the Tongxiang fire brigade, the fire was controlled in time.

The main part of the fire is a processing workshop in the middle of the cotton spinning mill. Because the raw materials in the workshop are all flammable, the production room is also an old wooden structure house, and the fire burns fast.

The fire brigade arrived in time and spent three hours of water gun firing for nearly two hours to control the fire.

Afterwards, it is understood that the cotton processing plant is a private family workshop, which has been in production for many years.

When the fire broke out that night, it was the owners of the Shi Shi couple who operated the machine when they found that there was a wire in the cotton. When the iron wire was removed, the machine exploded and sparked the production of cotton on one side, which led to the fire spread.

It is reported that the factory had a similar fire accident in the first half of last year.
