At 3 a.m. yesterday, a shoe store in Huian's Dongyuan town burst into flames. The fire burned for several hours, and tens of thousands of finished shoes were turned into ashes in the warehouse.

At 3:10 in the morning, the company's security guard Xiao Zhang and Xiao Li patrolled the factory area. When they came to the backyard factory building, they found fire in the warehouse on the two floor. Smoke poured out and immediately called the police.

"At that time, the fire was relatively small, burning from the central part of the warehouse, but it soon spread."

Xiao Zhang said he and Xiao Li hurriedly ran to the opposite factory and called the security guard.

Xiao Li and another security guard used a fire extinguisher to try to fight the fire, but the fire was too big to approach.

Before long, the company owner came and organized the staff to salvage some of the materials on the first floor workshop, and then the fire engine arrived.

Huian fire brigade dispatched all one or two squadrons, more than 40 officers and soldiers, 7 fire engines rushed to the scene for rescue.

Huian county government, Public Security Bureau, Security Supervision Bureau and other leaders arrived at the scene shortly after the fire to command the rescue.

The fire warehouse is located on the east side of the company. It is a molding workshop integrating production workshop, finished product warehouse and packing workshop. It has an area of 2500 square meters, and two floors are stacked with large quantities of finished shoes and cartons for packaging. There are many combustible materials.

Huian fire two squadron leader said that when the scene arrived, the warehouse was in a stage of intense combustion, and the flames were burning all over the factory building. The flames ceased from the warehouse window, and there was a strong smell of pungent smoke everywhere. People could not get close to it. The cement of the walls around the building began to fall off, and cracks appeared on the exterior walls. If the fire was not put out in time, the roof of the warehouse would collapse at any time once the walls were loose.

The fire devoured two floors of the finished product warehouse and packing workshop, forcing the workshop on the first floor.

After two hours of fighting, the fire officers and soldiers were able to control the fire.

After that, officers and men went deep into the fire to clean up the scene until 8:30 in the morning.

The goods in the warehouse were burned to ashes, but there were no casualties.

It is understood that the company mainly produces export sports shoes, casual shoes, a wholly foreign-owned export oriented enterprises, production and operation for more than 10 years, the current annual output of 2 million 500 thousand pairs, are sold to Europe, the United States, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and South America and other places.
