"At present, our biggest buyer is undoubtedly Russia, and the second largest buyer is China."

"This is the biggest change in the last 20 years because our biggest market is North America and Europe," said JamesGibb, a spokesman for the FurHarvesters auction house.

Russia is one of the largest fur producers in the world, followed by the United States, Canada and the Scandinavia peninsula.

But because of the emergence of many new riches in Russia, Russian domestic breeders are unable to meet the rapid growth of domestic demand.

Canadian fur is well known for its high quality, including mink skin, beaver skin, lynx skin, wolf skin and so on.

"Wild fur is shipped from North America to China, where it is processed into clothing, and then exported to North America or Russia."

Gibb said.

In Canada, a small number of enterprises are processing fur clothing, but the cost of labor is much higher than that of China.

AlanHerscovici, chairman of the Canadian fur Association, said that China and Russia were the biggest buyers of fur, which is a significant development for fur trade.
