Sponsored by the China Council for the promotion of international trade and the Qingdao municipal government, the "2008 China Qingdao (spring) Textile Exposition and garment machinery, shoe machine shoe materials exhibition" will be held in Qingdao International Convention and Exhibition Center in from March 15th to 17th.

The exhibition will be aimed at promoting the upgrading of clothing and footwear industry and reducing the purchasing cost of enterprises. It will help the home textile and garment enterprises to establish an in-depth cooperative relationship with the surface accessories, sewing equipment, shoe machine and shoe material enterprises.

Professional visitors can attend free activities during the exhibition by visiting business cards or on-site registration.

It is reported that the exhibition will be jointly organized by the Qingdao International Trade Promotion Association, the Qingdao pnational purchasing promotion center and the Qingdao Leather Industry Association. The exhibition will include the three professional exhibitions of "2008 China Qingdao Textile Expo fabric, accessories and yarn procurement fair", "2008 China Qingdao Garment Machinery Exhibition" and "2008 China Qingdao shoe machine shoe material exhibition".

At present, the exhibition has attracted nearly 4000 major textile and garment products and footwear manufacturers in Shandong to sign up for the procurement, including 70% of the export volume, the top 500 textile and garment enterprises in the province and 80% of the total export volume in the top 50 footwear enterprises in the province.

In order to help participants to achieve industrial upgrading, enhance their core competitiveness and participate in the international market as soon as possible, the organizing committee will organize lectures on textile quality control and field management during the exhibition.

It mainly includes: the application of automation equipment in jeans production enterprises; the relationship between site management, quality control and performance appraisal; the actual improvement of technical measures on textile quality indicators in Europe and America; and the lectures on the great changes in the shoe making industry in China and how the shoe industry in Shandong should respond.

In addition, in order to guide enterprises to accelerate the pace of entering the supply chain of large multinational buyers, the company will also make a procurement briefing during the exhibition, introducing the procurement plan, process, specifications, and related special requirements.
