"In recent years, China has gradually become the global sewing machinery production center and sales center, but there are also many worrying immature phenomena in the industry."

Yang Xiaojing, Secretary General of China Sewing Machinery Association, said that at present, the homogenization of products in China's sewing machinery industry is serious, and the market order is not standardized. Low price dumping, credit auction, counterfeiting and shoddy, arrears of goods, tax evasion, unfair competition and untrustworthiness have occurred frequently, and the profit margins have dropped sharply, which has seriously restricted the sustainable development of the industry.

The main means of unfair competition in the industry are: malicious sales reduction, dumping at low price or below cost price, the establishment of a model factory, the sale of malicious debts, and the payment of goods within the contract period under normal business conditions without proper reasons, including malicious credit, including giving accounts to customers who have never had business contacts; placing accounts in excess of the time limit in the normal contracts; in competition, in order to achieve the purpose, they intend to make the accounts more than other competitors' accounts; use compulsive, fraudulent, commercial bribery and other improper ways to solicit business; recruit business by degrading and damaging the reputation of their peers; do not sell invoices; do not abide by contracts and default on suppliers' loans. In view of these abnormal competitive behaviors, the "opinions on strengthening the integrity and self-discipline of the Chinese sewing machinery industry" issued on the same day have appealed to the member units in the daily operation process: the products sold first conform to the relevant national safety opinions and relevant product standards; there should be no tax evasion and tax evasion; there must be no false propaganda; no counterfeit infringement is allowed; no jerking behavior is allowed.

In order to carry forward the enterprise's sense of integrity and promote the healthy development of the industry, the China Sewing Machinery Association also used 2008 as a "reshape the new market order for China's sewing machinery industry."

The association has also set up the "fair competition committee", organizing the propaganda and education of integrity management, studying and formulating the credit evaluation index system of industrial enterprises, establishing a market supervision mechanism, and reporting unfair competition activities.
