China's first half year report card was released yesterday.

According to the Shaoxing industrial and commercial bureau, in the first half of this year, the turnover of China Textile City continued to grow steadily, with a total turnover of 26 billion 401 million yuan, a record high compared to the same period last year.

Among them, the textile market was 14 billion 482 million yuan, an increase of 16.27% over the previous year, and the turnover of Qian Qing textile raw material market was 11 billion 919 million yuan, an increase of 15.18% over the same period last year.

In the first half of this year, the profit margins of many mass textile production enterprises and trading companies were squeezed by interest rates, tax rebate rates, RMB appreciation against the US dollar, labor prices and raw material prices. Some enterprises were squeezed out of profits, some enterprises were struggling, but market operators adjusted their product structure, gradually pferred to the production development of linen, cotton, polyester and cotton, polyester and wool, and high value-added products continued to emerge.

The quality and reliability of innovative fabrics such as chemical fiber clothing, traditional cloth, household textile, household decoration, curtain fabric and window screening are still the mainstream of marketing.

This year, China Textile City held the first spring Textile Expo, achieving a total turnover of 3 billion 120 million yuan.

At the same time, with the acceleration of market pformation and upgrading, many domestic and foreign textile operators have entered the characteristic trading area.

In addition, the publication of "China Keqiao textile index" has greatly enhanced the popularity and reputation of China Textile City, and the permanent representative offices of foreign enterprises have been stationed.
