In the first half of 08 years, AQSIQ sampled 7 kinds of textile and clothing products, including cashmere knitwear, linen products, silk quilts, etc., and the key indicators directly related to personal health and safety were higher qualified rate.

The AQSIQ reported on August 1st that in the first half of 2008, the AQSIQ focused on the supervision and spot check of 127 kinds of products, such as food, consumer goods, building and decoration materials, agricultural production materials.

In terms of daily consumer goods, textile and clothing samples have been selected for 7 categories of textile and clothing products, including cashmere knitwear, linen products, silk quilts, women's underwear, coats, infant and young children's clothing, sportswear and knitted bathing suits. The key indicators directly related to personal health and safety have a high pass rate. Only 3 products of 3 kinds of decomposable aromatic amine dyes and 2 items of formaldehyde have been disqualified, indicating that the banned azo dyes and formaldehyde have been widely recognized by manufacturers in recent years.

The single coincidence rate of color fastness and pH value also reached 96.7% and 93.4% respectively.

Among them, the qualified rate of formaldehyde, pH value and microorganism index of linen products was 100%, while that of the flax cushion was not found.

The formaldehyde, banned azo dyes and color fastness items of silk products are up to standard requirements. There are some problems in individual products, such as filling quality deviation, filler fiber composition and compression resilience, which do not meet the standard requirements.
