Australian Wool Industry: Launching An International Distribution Campaign
The Australian wool research and distribution organization, Australia's Wool Innovation Bureau, will invest $120 million over the next three years to promote the distribution of merino wool.
Graig Welch, chief executive of the Australian Wool Innovation Bureau, said that the promotion of Merino hair clipping is a favorable fiber aspect.
Australian Merino wool is completely natural, ecological, sustainable and credible.
Australia's wool industry was criticized by Mulesing for animal power organization PETA.
But AWI denies this practice is cruel and plans to eliminate it in stages by 2010.
