The British Swimming Olympic Champion Wins The Brand High Heeled Shoes.
The British swimming Olympic champion won the wish of being awarded the famous brand high heel shoes.
Ederington, the British female athlete who won the two swimming gold medal of the Beijing Olympic Games, was able to win a pair of famous brand "golden" shoes that he had long been fond of when he returned home.
On the 26 day, the women's 400 meter and 800 meter freestyle champion and Ederington, 19, returned to their hometown, Mansfield, Nottingham. They were warmly welcomed by nearly 10000 people.
Mayor Eckington also fulfilled his promise. After Ederington won the championship, she gave her a pair of gold high heeled sandals worth 460 pounds (880 US dollars) designed by Malaysia footwear designer Zhou Yangjie.
Now, Ederington has become a sports legend in her hometown. The Sherwood gymnasium, which she often trains, will be renamed the "Rebecca Ederington swimming center" in September next year. Yates's Pub will also use her name.
