Experts believe that the direct impact of the US financial crisis on Vietnam is small, but the indirect impact is not small. Especially for Vietnam, because the United States is an important export market for Vietnamese textiles, shoes and aquatic products. Foreign investors may withdraw funds and sell stocks from Vietnam due to financial difficulties, which will affect Vietnam's foreign exchange reserves and securities market prices.

Some experts suggested that the government should prevent financial crisis caused by bad debts of real estate mortgage, and the central bank should be ready to inject capital into commercial banks when necessary.
