A representative of the Pakistan cotton merchants association said that Pakistan trading company acquired processed cotton according to 2900 rupees (36.77 US dollars) -3200 rupee (37.34 kilograms).

As of December 15th, the textile factory bought 9 million bales of cotton, compared with the same period last year, purchasing more than 8 million 500 thousand packages of 500 thousand bales.

In the 2009 fiscal year, the total output of cotton is expected to be 12 million packs, compared to 11 million 500 thousand bales in the previous year.
