Due to the impact of the global financial crisis, the profit margins of garment industry in Huadu District of Guangzhou have been challenged unprecedentedly under the multiple pressures of RMB promotion, tax adjustment and factor price increase.

To increase the support for garment industry and reduce the burden of garment processing enterprises, Huadu inspection and Quarantine Bureau has taken a series of measures to help enterprises out of difficulties.

First, the export garment inspection and quarantine charges will be reduced this year, and the statutory inspection and quarantine fees for all export garments shall be collected according to 70%.

Two. Since the 1-6 month of this year, the "zero" charge for newly added clothing to the statutory inspection catalogue will not be charged for any inspection and quarantine charges.

Three, the export clothing production enterprises newly pferred to the "law inspection catalogue" shall take positive measures to notify them to handle the filing procedures of the self reporting and inspection units, and provide convenience for the work. During the pitional period, the qualification of the inspection personnel shall not be restricted.

Four. On the basis of the classified management of enterprises, we should reduce the number and proportion of spot checks as far as possible, and reduce the proportion of special inspection involving safety, environmental protection and health projects within the permitted scope so as to lighten the burden of enterprises.

Five, timely communication and publicity work, through visits to enterprises, to the enterprise personnel to inform the information and new policy requirements, publish work guide, provide enterprises with risk warning information.
