Viscose Filament Enterprises Collectively Raise Prices To Maintain Profits
China Chemical Fiber Industry Association viscose Specialized Committee recently held the first meeting of viscose filament industry in Beijing. In order to maintain the common interests of the viscose filament industry and maintain reasonable profits, the Specialized Committee suggested that the price of viscose filament should be raised by 1000 yuan per ton from February 20th, and the export market price will be adjusted accordingly.
The head of the Specialized Committee said that the export of viscose filament has shrunk dramatically due to the financial crisis, and the price of products has dropped sharply. Viscose filament industry strives to turn round the industry deficit this year.
Accordingly, the price per ton of products should be raised by about 4000 yuan by June. The person in charge suggested that manufacturers should reduce consumption and save expenses so as to stabilize the price of raw material market. It is also understood that next month, Specialized Committee will also hold the first training course of sales director in Xinxiang chemical fiber.
The proposal of viscose Specialized Committee has been actively responded by various viscose enterprises. Taking into account the recent rise in raw materials such as cotton pulp and other raw material prices and the coming peak season for downstream demand, in February 23rd, Jilin chemical fiber, Xinxiang chemical fiber, Zhejiang Zhonghui, Hubei gold ring and other enterprises decided to raise the price of all specifications viscose filament by 1000 yuan / ton. On the same day, the Baoding Swan decided to raise the sales price of 120D/30F bright silk market to not less than 30 thousand yuan per ton, and the other varieties were raised at the same rate.
