Polyurethane Engineering Technology Research Center Settled In Yantai Wanhua
In the list of national engineering and technology research centers released by the Ministry of science and technology in 2008, the "national polyurethane engineering and technology research center" was settled in Yantai. So far, there are 15 national engineering and technology centers in the whole province. Our city has occupied 3 seats, and the other 2 are "national maize engineering technology research center" and "national seaweed engineering technology research center".
It is understood that Yantai Wanhua polyurethane company is the leading enterprise in China's Polyurethane Industry and the first batch of innovative enterprises in the whole country. It has strong R & D strength and high growth. It has undertaken and completed a number of state-level, provincial and ministerial key scientific and technological projects, developed core technologies such as large-scale MDI and TPU with independent intellectual property rights, won over 20 national, provincial and ministerial level science and technology awards, and trained a team of professional engineering technology R & D and management talents with reasonable structure, and achieved remarkable economic and social benefits.
At present, Yantai Wanhua is the world's fourth MDI manufacturer with independent intellectual property rights. It is the fastest growing MDI manufacturer in the world in recent years. In 2008, the MDI capacity of the company reached 420 thousand tons / year, and the product quality and unit consumption reached the international advanced level and became the largest manufacturer in the Asia Pacific region.
The rise of Yantai Wanhua has led to the rapid development of China's polyurethane industry, enabling China's polyurethane industry to have a safe and reliable raw material guarantee. The national polyurethane Engineering Technology Research Center, established by Yantai Wanhua polyurethane Limited by Share Ltd, will further enhance the independent innovation ability of polyurethane industry, promote the upgrading of polyurethane raw materials and polyurethane products, and will play an important role in promoting the competitiveness of the country.
