The industrial fiber base of Grand Port university decided to establish an agreement between Tianjin University of Technology and the government.

It is reported that the fiber interface technology industrialization base project will pform the existing achievements into the core, make bigger and stronger diversified industries, and promote the technological innovation and industrialization development of related chemical and new material industries in Binhai New Area.

The research and development emphasis is to develop large quantities of textile auxiliaries, make the low-grade products high-grade, enhance the added value of major textile products, develop high-performance fibers, promote the development of industrial fibers, support the large ethylene project in Binhai New Area, and develop the downstream deep processing technology and products industrialization.

After the completion of the project, it is expected to produce 30000 tons of interface treatment agent, 3500 tons of high performance polyether and 2000 tons of special fatty acid esters annually, achieving an annual output value of 300 million yuan and a profit tax of 50 million yuan.
