According to the "notice on further speeding up the construction of community commerce" issued by the provincial commerce department, Sichuan will strive to complete the construction and pformation of community business step by step through the efforts of 3-5 years in 21 cities (prefectures) and the appropriate county-level cities in the province, and realize the basic living needs of community residents such as shopping, catering, maintenance, hairdressing, laundry, housekeeping services and recycling of renewable resources, which can be satisfied in the community.

It is revealed that the business department is planning to establish a community business service center (call center) in cities such as Chengdu, when the public needs the convenience of people in the community business, property, home economics, and so on.

Xie Kaihua said that Sichuan may invest financial resources to promote this work.

In promoting enterprise sales, Xie Kaihua said in an interview with reporters that Chengdu's leather shoes industry and furniture industry are planning to open up domestic sales channels.

He said that last year, the export of leather shoes in Sichuan province was three hundred million or four hundred million US dollars, and this year's export orders were reduced. Under such circumstances, Sichuan footwear enterprises will establish a "Consortium" to jointly establish Sichuan shoe sales stores in Chengdu and two tier cities, and promote the brand of Sichuan shoes in the domestic market, and promote sales through brand names.

Xie Kaihua said that while expanding domestic demand, Sichuan will not relax and stabilize exports of Sichuan products.

This is in line with the state's policy. The government's work report said that this year China will "strive to maintain steady growth in foreign trade", stressing that domestic demand must be expanded, but that "export easing" must not be relaxed.

In order to stabilize the export of Sichuan enterprises, Sichuan intends to organize about 100 enterprises in the first half of the year to expand into emerging markets overseas.

He said that Sichuan will also stabilize foreign trade growth by rewarding leading figures from foreign exchange earning enterprises.
