Chuanjiang Town, Tongzhou City, Jiangsu Province, was newly established in February last year. It was formed by the merger of some villages in the original Chuangang Town and Jiangzao Town. The town has the largest professional market for home textile fabrics and home textile production base in China. In the second half of last year, the financial crisis swept through, and Chuanjiang Town, which is mainly engaged in home textile, stood the test.

From January to February this year, Sichuan ginger home textile industry achieved sales revenue of 550 million yuan. On the whole, the town maintained the momentum of normal production and no reduction of employees. Chen Jianjun, secretary of the town party committee, said: "In times of crisis, the government should build a service platform to let people live in peace and let enterprises do business smoothly."

Difficulties in employment have always plagued local enterprises. Last November, the government of Chuanjiang Town conducted a sampling survey of 40 large-scale enterprises in the town, and found that the shortage of skilled workers was more than 1500.

"At present, some textile and garment enterprises in Guangdong and Zhejiang have stopped production, and many skilled workers have returned home in advance, which is a good time for us to recruit talents." The leaders of Chuanjiang Town took action after making up their minds. More than 10 days later, 7 home textile enterprises, including Baoman and Meilihua, headed by the town party secretary, sent people to Tongnan County, Chongqing to recruit workers.

It is understood that there are 700000 laborers working outside Tongnan County, and 200000 people returning home, most of whom are textile and sewing technicians. On January 9 this year, Tongnan County held a conference to deploy the transfer of labor force to Chuanjiang Town. By the end of February, more than 1000 people had worked in enterprises in Chuanjiang Town.
