Communicative Competence Is Closely Related To The Success Or Failure Of Job Search.
Many job seekers have such experience: without high academic qualifications and rich work experience and other conditions, it may be difficult to find the ideal job. But according to a reporter's survey, communication barriers (miscommunication and talk) are more likely to keep job seekers out of the door of success.
In this regard, a random sampling survey was conducted. The respondents were 100 job seekers who came to the big talent market in Shenzhen, and a total of 88 questionnaires were sent out, and effective questionnaires were collected, with an effective response rate of 88%. The specific findings are as follows:
Job success is closely related to communicative competence.
The questionnaire first inquired into the "academic background" and "past work experience" of the respondents.
The results show that among job seekers, 32.6% of those who hold a bachelor's degree, 42.7% of those who have a college degree, add up to 75.3% of them. The total number of people who worked in marketing, clerks, management and other people was 64.9%. This shows that most job seekers have a higher educational background and a wealth of work experience.
After that, the questionnaire asked the key question: "according to your own job search experience, do you think the success or failure of job search is related to communication and eloquence?" The statistics show that 60.7% of the respondents think that "very relevant" accounts for 37.1%, while the answer is "one point", accounting for 37.1%. That is to say, if there is a relationship between "relationship" and "no relationship", it is considered that the relationship between job success and failure and communication and eloquence is 97.8%. Obviously, the proportion of people who think that the success or failure of job search is related to communication and eloquence is higher than that of "highly educated" and "rich working experience".
This means that communication and eloquence may play a more important role in job hunting than academic qualifications and work experience. If job seekers fail to communicate successfully with recruiters and rush to Shenzhen with all kinds of talents, it is not easy to get recognition from others.
Most job seekers think they have communication barriers.
Statistical analysis found that 49.4% of the respondents considered themselves "communicative competence to be general" and 53.4% considered themselves "eloquent". When asked if there were any barriers to communication with people at ordinary times, 53.4% of the respondents said "yes". Among these people, 29.8% of respondents believed that their biggest communication barriers were psychological. 31.9% of respondents thought they were "lack of practical communication skills". 38.3% of them felt that they had "obstacles in two aspects of psychology and skills". It can be seen that most of the job seekers in Shenzhen are dissatisfied with their communication and eloquence, or even lack of confidence.
The ratio of systematic training to communication and eloquence is rather heavy.
Good social psychological quality and interpersonal skills are not innate. Only in the process of socialization can we acquire systematic training. But the survey found that only 12.5% of people "read" books on communication and eloquence, 80.7% of them only "occasionally flip", 6.8% of them were "never seen". As for those who have received systematic and specialized training in this field, they are even more rare. Therefore, it is not difficult to understand why some job seekers have high educational qualifications and work experience, but they can not find the ideal job.
Job seekers are eager to fill in the lesson of communication and eloquence.
Perhaps it is because they are not good at communication and have too many walls in the job market. Many job seekers finally realize the importance of interpersonal communication and eloquence, and hope to have the opportunity to fill in this lesson. For example, 76.1% of people think that "interpersonal communication and eloquence ability are good or not, to a great extent determine whether a person's career is successful or not". 69.3% of people think that "communication and eloquence are the abilities that modern people must have, and need to learn systematically like learning professional knowledge". Only 9% think "communicative ability is natural". It is interesting that more than 93% of the respondents expressed willingness to participate in the training of communication or eloquence. Only 6.8% are considered unnecessary.
The job search process is essentially a process of communication between job seekers and recruiters. Whether the two sides can communicate effectively determines the success or failure of job search. Effective communication with people is an important part of modern people's professional quality. As far as this survey is concerned, job seekers can hardly adapt themselves to the increasingly fierce professional competition in Shenzhen just because of their communication and eloquence at the moment. Therefore, if job seekers want to get an ideal position in Shenzhen and stand firm in Shenzhen's professional society, besides strengthening their professional skills, they must also strengthen their training in communication and eloquence, improve their communication skills as much as possible, so as to accumulate more human capital and gain more space for survival and development.
