The Canadian Border Services Department issued a notice to make a final review of the anti-dumping period of the waterproof shoes and soles originating in China.

In the course of the investigation, 6 enterprises provided questionnaire responses. The 6 enterprises were C-Robert Enterprise Co. Ltd., Chuangxin shoes industry Co., Ltd. (Chu-Shun Shoes), Genfort Shoes Ltd., Mudanjiang Baiyue Shoemaking Company (Mudanjiang Baiyue Mudanjiang), and Co., and so on. Therefore, the export of waterproof shoes and soles for export of these 6 enterprises had determined the specific normal value, while other enterprises which did not provide questionnaires responded to the anti-dumping duties of 49% of the export prices of the products involved.

The normal value came into effect on February 23, 2010.

In May 12, 2000, the Canadian Border Services Department conducted anti-dumping investigations on waterproof shoes and soles originating in China. Customs codes for products involved were 64011019, 64011020, 64019120, 64019211, 64019212, 64019292.90, 64019921, 64019929, 64019930.10, 64019930.90, 64021990.90, 64021990.90, 64021990.90, 64021990.90, 64021990.90, 64019930.90, 64019930.10, 12, 5, 2, 5, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 2, and 64019211.

In November 8, 2000, the Canadian Border Service Department made a final ruling on the case and ruled that the dumping rate of Chinese enterprises involved was 33%.

In October 21, 2009, the Canadian Border Services Department conducted a third anti-dumping review.
