Xun Group Will Open Asia's First UNIQLO Store In Shanghai
FastRetailingCo.Ltd, a garment making retail companies, announced in China yesterday that fourth flagship stores in New York, London and Paris will open the world's flagship store in Asia, the first UNIQLO in Asia, in May 15, 2010.
There are signs of new changes in the understanding of China by the successful retailer of the founder, Ryui Masa.
Previously, relying on purchasing fabrics and processing materials from China, UNIQLO has become the largest single brand in China. The company's top executives also admitted to our correspondent that on April 2010 7, 85% of the sales volume of xungang group has been realized in China, and the UNIQLO library, which was founded, has sent 500 million products to the world. This has maintained fairly good profit margins for UNIQLO's "low price, quality and style" principle. Since 2008, the Xunzi group has maintained good performance and shareholder returns.
The company's 2009 annual report shows that the company has not declined in key financial data such as sales revenue and net profit, but has maintained a sustained growth over the previous two years.
