To this end, the European Union requires manufacturers, distributors, importers and retailers to ensure that their children's clothing strings and belts meet EN14682:2007 European standards or provide relevant safety grade certificates.

The following suggestions are made for parents and care.

1, for children under 7 years old (1.34 meters below height), there should be no strings and girdle on the neck and head.

2. For children's clothing from 7 to 14 years old, no more than 7.5 centimeters of string can be found on the neck and head. Apart from the shoulder girdle, the string should not be flexible.

3, children's clothing chest and waist should not have more than 14 cm at one end of the string.

4, there should be no knot string on the head and neck of the neck garment.

The bandage of children's clothing should be in the front, not more than 36 cm in length.

5, if the garments purchased do not meet the above requirements, in order to ensure safety, they can dismantle, cut or cut off the rope bands, or report them to the local market supervision department.

In this kind of related inspection, China's export products have been repeatedly informed and returned notice.

According to the Statistics Center of the China Textile Industry Association, the number of textile and clothing products has been increased sharply in the 1-9 months of 2009. In the first 3 quarters, 153 reports were received, which increased 6.29 times compared with that of the previous year, accounting for 20.84% of the total notification to China.

From July to August, Europe and the United States announced the recall of the 63 batch of exports of children's textile and garment products in China, more than 80% are precisely because small parts or rope does not meet the requirements.

In the whole of 2009, the United States, the European Union and Canada issued a total of 1404 non conforming notifications, involving 768 children, including toys, children's clothing, baby cots and so on.

The main problems of these products are that the risk of strangulation or strangulation in children's clothing is in violation of the requirements of the EU and the United States.

The inspection and quarantine department reminds the relevant enterprises to do the following work: first, understand the requirements of the European and American safety requirements for the rope and small parts of children's clothing, strictly organize the production according to the requirements of the EN14682:2007 European standard, or provide relevant certificates to effectively improve the management level of children's clothing production; two, pay attention to evading risks when signing foreign trade contracts with the customers, do not accept defective designs, avoid claiming claims, etc.; three, enterprises should strengthen the safety project examination of product design and development, check the safety items of the first products, and the enterprises that have the conditions should build or jointly build laboratories according to their own product characteristics and export requirements, carry out the inspection of related safety items for clothing, enhance the self-examination and self-control ability of the enterprises, and effectively avoid risks.
