Spain Apparel Federation Wants To Overturn "Minutes Of Consultation"

The Spanish national clothing Federation (FEDECOM) is currently overtaking the EU's "textile consultation minutes" signed by the EU government through legal means.

The central European government signed an agreement through consultations to limit the export of 11 categories of Chinese textiles to the European Union.

But only 2 months later, the quota was exhausted, and about 88 million Chinese clothing was left behind by the EU ports.

To this end, the central European government reached an agreement after re consultation in September.

The agreement stipulates that the European side will unilaterally increase the total quota in 2005 by about 44 million pieces, and for Spain, the additional quota will reach 7 million.

The Spanish clothing Federation has set up a special group to study the legal feasibility of the appeal.

A spokesman for the association said: "as long as there is a 50% feasibility, we will declare this 7 million additional quota that may cause greater damage to the industry."

Next, the Federation of Spanish costumes will also hold a series of meetings. Its main tasks include not only the detailed details of litigation, but also the formulation of plans for joint support from textile enterprises and textile practitioners.
