Iran 99% Imported Leather Shoes Smuggled Into The Market
Iran Economic Daily reported on May 10th, according to Iran customs statistics, in 2009, the Iran customs import leather shoes 10 million 900 thousand U.S. dollars, an increase of 25.5% over the same period.
According to statistics of Iran Footwear Association, Iran customs statistics accounted for only 1% of imported leather shoes, and 99% of imported leather shoes were smuggled into Iran market.
