從重慶市紡織行業(yè)協(xié)會(huì)獲悉，受棉花價(jià)格一路高漲的影響，多數(shù)重慶本土服裝企業(yè)都已在醞釀提價(jià)，預(yù)計(jì)棉料服裝提價(jià)幅度在10%左右。

The continuous rise of cotton prices is a heavy blow for textile enterprises.

Without raising prices, most small and medium-sized local garment enterprises will face unprofitable embarrassment. Even brand clothing enterprises will be greatly affected.

Chen Shangfu, Secretary General of the textile industry association, said yesterday.

It is understood that due to tight supply of cotton this year, from the second half of last year, cotton prices have been rising all the way. The price of two grade cotton has risen from 15 thousand yuan per ton to 17 thousand and 500 yuan at the beginning of the year, or up to 25%.

Affected by the rise in cotton prices, after entering the May, the price of cotton bedding in Chaotianmen's clothing wholesale market has increased by more than 10%. Only the cotton clothing remains the original price. The local clothing enterprises are collectively brewing price adjustment, only to offset the impact of rising cotton prices.

"It should not exceed 10%. After all, no one can afford to give up the summer market easily."

Cao Yi, chairman of Chongqing Tian style dress, said.

This statement has also been confirmed by many local clothing companies, such as Shu Wang and Duan Ji.

It is understood that by the impact of high cotton prices, many local garment enterprises began to reduce the use of cotton, and instead of the main production of polyester, chemical fiber as raw material products.

This summer, there will be more non cotton garments on the market in Chongqing.
