American Outdoor Shoes Failed To Check For Sterilization
美國服裝巨頭VF集團旗下戶外品牌TNF近日被美國環(huán)境保護局（EPA）起訴，該品牌多款戶外鞋聲稱具有殺菌作用，并未經(jīng)過檢測核實。TNF將賠償207，500美元平息此訴訟。
EPA sued TNF in September last year. The brand includes more than 70 shoes, including Fory Gore-Tex XCR and Hedgehog SCR series, which can prevent the growth of bacteria causing disease.
EPA issued a statement: TNF outdoor shoes do contain registered bactericidal functions, but have never been tested and verified. This publicity evidence is insufficient.
