Textile producers in the United States are putting pressure on US policy makers to abolish import duty on cotton and acrylic yarn. Although the United States has not produced, it is very important for them to abolish the yarn tax in competition with foreign counterparts. Policymakers did not extend the import tax which expired last year. The NCTO and 74 companies wrote to the fundraising committee and the trade Subcommittee, asking policy makers to approve miscellaneous trade and technology.
